The Legal Counsel Club is targeted at legal counsels established in the Lake of Geneva/Rhône-Alpes region with an international practice wishing to meet counterparts in other companies established on both sides of the French and Swiss border. The members of the Club meet twice a year to discuss various topics they have identified as of interest. Each meeting takes place in the Lake of Geneva/Rhône-Alpes region and is followed by a cocktail dinner.
To maintain the conviviality and efficiency of the annual meetings, the number of members is limited to 50 and each new member is selected by the current members.
The meetings allow members to (i) discuss pragmatic legal and non-legal issues and best practices, (ii) share experiences, and (iii) informally allow for continuing education. All meetings are based on direct discussions between legal counsels rather than through speakers or formal presentations.
